Mark Volman

Mark Volman, born on April 19, 1947, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer, best known as a founding member of the influential rock band The Turtles. The band, active primarily in the 1960s, is renowned for hits like "Happy Together" and "She'd Rather Be with Me." Volman, often recognized for his distinctive vocal style and energetic stage presence, contributed significantly to the group's success. After The Turtles disbanded in 1970, Volman and fellow band member Howard Kaylan formed the duo Flo & Eddie, which became known for their eclectic sound that blended rock, pop, and comedy.
